I live in Kalifornia and when the midlife crisis struck I started looking for a red corvette to match my super duty pu truck. I looked at and drove some down here all had something wrong with them like overpriced, tore up, high miles, wrecked etc. I was planning a trip to Bend so I started looking in Oregon. I came across Doug's ad and gave him a call. He told me about the car and did a walk around over the phone then he told me what was wrong with it. Doug said it had brake chatter and the climate control system read out was dim. I don't know why but talking with Doug on the phone I trusted him so at this point I did something I have never done before I bought the car over the phone. We negotiated a good price with the aforementioned items repaired and Doug offered to deliver the car to me in Bend. I acquired the vette a week later and to my surprise it was more than I had hoped for, all options including the 600 dollar paint option. The car is a real head turner and everything was repaired as promised. I took it to the Chevy dealer in bend to have it checked out and after more than two hours they could not find anything wrong. I would not have a problem buying a car from Doug sight unseen because what he says is the truth. Integrity from a used car dealership sounds strange but that's what you get from Doug at Blizzard Motors. Thanks Doug

An absolute pleasure dealing with Doug Blizzard. About as far from the "traditional used car salesman" as one could be, Doug is a most personable, erudite and knowledgable professional dealing in a broad venue of quality cars. In pruchasing avery nice pre owned Lexus from him, our review of the CARFAX did not show that the previous (one owner vehicle) had not had documebnted service history noted for brakes. Doug immeditely attended to the matter to my satisfaction. Neogtiations were friendly, and without pressure. I would gladly do business with Blizzard Motors again.

If there were an award for the best used car salesman in the world, Doug Blizzard would have my vote. There is no one more deserving. I recently had the opportunity to purchase a car from him. Not only do I love the car, but I can say unequivocally it was the best car-buying experience of my life. I saw an ad online for a car at Doug’s dealership. Given the distance away (I live in San Diego, CA) my husband and I bombarded Doug with many questions about the vehicle. Doug patiently and thoroughly answered all of our questions. He even went out in the rainstorm to inspect the car for scratches or dings (there weren’t any). At our request he shuttled the car over to a Lexus dealer so we could obtain a “second opinion” car inspection. He offered us a “handshake” deal (promising not to sell it out from under us), and he kept his word. He picked me up at the airport and treated me very kindly. He is a man of integrity. Doug has changed my whole attitude on "Car Salesman" because he makes it fun to buy a car. My husband and I went to Blizzard to help a friend of ours look at a beautiful SL500. While my husband was out test driving it, I happened to see a ML 500. I thought about keeping my SL500 and waffled for about a month. He let me make up my mind on my terms without pressure and I finally traded it in. We could not be happier with our vehicle. When we had a few problems, he handled it and made it good. Thanks Doug! I just bought a beautiful 2004 Mercedes C230 for my beautiful wife. I had always thought that cars like this were out of my reach but Doug showed me that it's very possible to get a quality, luxury car at a great affordable price at Blizzard Motors. I went in there all armored up expecting to deal with the typical used car salesman. When I got there I was completely surprised and baffled. First I was not attacked as soon as I got on the lot and steered toward cars that they were pushing. I had the Blue Mercedes SLK in mind when I got there and was asked if I wanted to see it. They showed me the car inside and out and had all the details and the history of the car, so in about 10 minutes I had a clear understanding of the car's history, features and cost. This was all within the first half hour that I was there. I then talked to Doug and told him what I had to trade but didn't have with me at that time. He said that it was ok and he would just get the information and give me a ballpark on what to expect with the trade. We then negotiated a mutual price, shook hands and it was pretty much a done deal. Doug asked if I was going to get financing through a credit union or if I would be going through him. I was good for financing at my bank so I went and got my loan. There were a few minor issues with the car and he said that he would take care of it before I picked up the car. It took two days to get my financing complete and brought in the trades for him to evaluate and everything checked out and we went in to do the paperwork which literally took about 20 minutes and I had keys in hand. The car was ready waiting for me to drive it off the lot! There was allot of interest in this car but Doug would not let people look at it after we had our handshake deal (I had nothing down on the car). I was very impressed with the whole experience and would whole heartedly recommend Blizzard motors to anyone looking for a car. Thanks Doug for the great experience and I will definitely be back for any other vehicles that I will be looking to buy.

I purchased a 1996 Corvette from Blizzard Motors thru Cars.com. Mr. Blizzard and I made a quick agreement via telecom on the purchase price, which was advertised $1200 more than his sale price. He informed me of his reduction and did not have to. Upon arriving 600 miles to Portland to pickup the Corvette it was apparent that Blizzard Motors is a upper end car dealership specializing in top notch BMW's, Corvettes and Audi's. We made a very pain free closing. Upon arriving home, the car developed an unforeseen issue which was quite expensive. Blizzard Motors was quick to make good with a fair, generous compensation. Doug Blizzard conducts business in a manner that is uncommon in today's world, Class, nothing but Class. I would do business with Blizzard Motors again in a heart beat and highly recommend them.
